hi, I'm kristyna

nice to meet you!

I first founded Reconnect Garden Design Ltd, offering full garden design services. Over the years, I worked on a wide range of projects and learned so much — but I began to notice that the part that truly lit me up was always the same: edible planting and permaculture design.

So I made a decision to simplify. To let go of the parts of the work that didn’t feel fully aligned, and focus wholeheartedly on what brings me the most joy — and what I know I do best.

Becoming a mum strengthened that decision. It shifted my perspective in the most grounding way. Life is short. Moments are precious. Our time and energy matter. I want to spend mine doing work I love and sharing it with others — helping families create gardens where they can slow down, grow food together, and make lasting memories.

Edible planting has always been at the heart of my work. In 2023, my passion for resourceful, edible gardens was recognized with two awards.

With a Garden Design Diploma, a Permaculture Design Certificate, and years of hands-on experience, I love helping people create beautiful, productive gardens in practical and affordable ways — spaces that can grow gradually alongside them.

My mission is simple, to help more people discover that growing food can be joyful, achievable, and something that brings us closer to nature — and to each other.

Kristyna was a great facilitator and the session flew by. There was a nice mixture of practical work and theoretical learning that was engaging and interesting. She was well prepared with materials and made the group feel welcome and included.
